Storyteller at Heart
Rachel was born and raised in San Francisco, California. As a young girl she would conjure up poems and stories from her vivid imagination, sharing them with anyone who would listen. Mrs. Zangrillo-Galicinao's writing career started with poetry through the International Society of Poets, being published in eight of their anthologies. Since then, she has had three solo poetry/self-help books published, eventually winning an award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. Throughout the years Rachel's writing and storytelling has developed quite a bit, but her original thrill of creating has never once left her side.
Mrs. Zangrillo-Galicinao's hobbies include horseback riding, swimming, taking long walks, chasing sunsets, anything to do with cars, and especially working out, where she says, "Work out for no one else but yourself, and to stay healthy." Rachel's love for children, animals, and traveling have all inspired her in life, along with watching food shows, which brings out her creative side in her love for cooking. She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her husband, son, and parents.
